Real estate agent, entrepreneur Michael Richard McKillican, Born  April, 3,1976, in Edmonton, Alberta, the first  of four children. Michael McKillican  was an energetic, assertive child, and his parents sent him to Fort McMurray A.B, hoping the discipline of the real world would channel his energy in a positive manner. McKillican did well at the academy of “real world”, both socially and academically, rising to be a self made business owner and achieving huge market share within the regions that he staked. By the time he was 24 years of age he entered into two communities and had successfully crushed his competition. McKillican seems to have been strongly influenced by his father in his decision to make a career in business, but the younger man's personal goals were much grander than those of his senior. In McKillicans early years as a student, McKillican worked with his father during the school year & summer  As a commercial crane and electrical contractor. However, the business was very competitive and profit margins were narrow. In 1989 his father moved his residence to West Edmonton, where he became familiar with many influential people. Convinced of the economic opportunity in the city, Michael’s father became involved in large contracts in Edmonton that would offer opportunities for earning high profits, utilizing all opportunities the community had to offer, and winning public recognition. McKillican has learned like many other people in this world grasp opportunities with both hands and don’t let go! By  2004  McKillican had achieved a small business degree, sold his successful business that still thrives today, married a wonderful women, purchased a black lab puppy, moved to Vancouver Island in search of opportunity and built a home.Vancouver Island has been a truly wonderful adventure since moving here 6 years ago. McKillican looked at several business opportunities including a Boston Pizza franchise but with a little soul searching decided realestate was a definite. After successfully purchasing and selling several homes and always making a profit, McKillican felt compelled to offer his experience to future property owners. Ounce passing all requirements UBC has stated for all upcoming realestate graduates, McKillican was excited and focused putting all energy into creating a client experience no other agent has offered  and building relationship that last. Four consecutive years at his formal realestate brokerage he ranked top three agents in his office of 40 members. Compelled to search out the best possible brokerage that could offer more education, marketing and competitive working environment,  McKillican decided there is not but one office that would fit such criteria, Remax of Nanaimo.
